BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon is winning awards even when he is in the military. RM's army band won a special award at the first ever military music contest. The K-pop idol, who is currently completing his mandatory military service, won an award with his army band at the first ever Mental Power Enhancement Military Music Contest.
Over 45 military bands participated in the contest, out of which only eight army bands reached the final round. Pictures of RM with his army band members have gone viral on social media. RM enlisted in the military in December 2023 and will be discharged in June 25. On the professional front, RM released his second solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' in May this year.
