Superstar Rajinikanth fans are celebrating ‘Thalaivar’s welcome to the big screen with his film Jailer that released on August 10. On day 3, it earned Rs 35 crore at the box office.
The film has made a total of Rs 150 crore in three days reportedly.
The film started with a collection of Rs 70 crore and become 2023’s biggest Tamil opener. It saw a slight dip in collection but during the long holiday weekend, the film has picked up the speed again.
There are reports that the movie will earn more than Rs 500 crore at the box office during its run in the theatres.
The film stars Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu and Vasanth Ravi in pivotal roles and cameos by cameos by Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Bollywood star Jackie Shroff, and Tamil star Tamannaah Bhatia.
