Marvel has managed to bring back Robert Downey Jr to 'Avengers'. It did not only take the studios to turn him into a bad guy but a lot more to make it happen.
According to a Variety report, RDJ is getting smore than $670 million to place Doctor Doom in the upcoming 'Avengers' franchise films. That's not all! The 'Iron Man' actor will also be getting some perks like private jet travel, personal security and trailer encampment.
RDJ, who is the highest paid actor in MCU, has reportedly earned around $400-500 million from all the other Marvel films.
Besides him, Russo brothers are being reportedly paid $80 million to direct 'Avengers: Doomsday' and 'Avengers: Secret Wars'. The director duo's deal with Marvel also includes performance escalators that kick in at the $750 million and $1 billion thresholds, as pre the report.'
Joe and Anthony are also co-producing the upcoming two films in 'Avengers' franchise' under their production banner AGBO.
