After skipping the Met Gala in 2022, actor Priyanka Chopra is all set to return to the prestigious event this year. She will be among the many celebrities attending the Met Gala in New York on Monday.
The news was confirmed by journalist Marc Malkin, who is associated with Variety, on Wednesday. He had met Priyanka at ‘Citadel's LA premiere recently.
Malkin tweeted, ‘Confirmed! Priyanka Chopra just told me she will be at the Met Gala on Monday. Says her look 'will be on theme' because she loves a theme but it will also have a 'special element.’
Alia Bhatt is also likely to make her Met Gala debut this year in a Prabal Gurung outfit.
The theme of Met Gala 2023 is ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’ to honour the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. The event will take place on May 1.
The first two episodes of Priyanka Chopra’s spy thriller web series 'Citadel' will premiere on April 28 on Prime Video.
