Hollywood star Natalie Portman and her husband-choreographer Benjamin Millepied have parted ways after being married for 11 years.
According to Us Weekly, the decision comes following Benjamin’s alleged affair with climate activist Camille Etienne.
An insider informed, ‘After news of his affair came out, they’ve been trying to work on their marriage but are currently on the outs.’
Natalie and Benjamin share two children – son Aleph and daughter Amalia.
In June, an insider told Us Weekly that Natalie believed 'Benjamin’s affair was a brief and stupid liaison that means nothing to him' and she was ‘willing to see if she’s capable of rebuilding her trust’ in him to make sure that their kids don’t 'grow up in a broken home'.
Natalie and Benjamin met while working on Darren Aronofsky’s thriller ‘Black Swan’ in 2009.
On the work front, Natalie Portman will be seen in ‘May December’. Helmed by Todd Haynes, the movie will release on Netflix later this year.
In the movie, Natalie stars as an actor researching an upcoming film that's to dramatize a scandal from 20 years earlier. She comes to Savannah, Georgia, to spend time with Gracie Atherton-Yoo (Julianne Moore), who years earlier became tabloid fodder for a sexual relationship with a seventh grader.
