Singer-songwriter Kevin Jonas has revealed his skin cancer diagnosis. The eldest Jonas Brothers member took to his Instagram account to reveal that he underwent surgery to remove damaged cells, dropping a friendly reminder for fans to stay vigilant about their own skin health.
Jonas captioned a clip of himself at a medical facility before and after the procedure. "So today I am getting a basal cell carcinoma removed from my head," he said while positioning the camera closer to the exact location of the skin abnormality. "Yes, that is an actual little skin cancer guy that started to grow, and now I have to get surgery to remove it," he added. “Make sure to get those moles checked, people,” he said. He also captioned the video, “Friendly reminder to get your moles checked.”
The Jonas Brothers are currently on a break from touring. Their last date was April 30 in Cancun, Mexico. They will resume their tours from July 4. Meanwhile, fans can next catch the eldest Jo Bro member as the host of ABC’s 'Claim to Fame' celebrity relative reality show, which he heads alongside his brother, Franklin Jonas. The new season is slated to premiere on July 10.
