Johnny Depp, 61, and Yulia Vlasova, a 28-year-old Russian beautician and model, are reportedly dating. Their relationship is described as ‘very casual,’ with occasional meetings over the past few years.
Depp and Vlasova were recently spotted looking cozy at the London Heliport. Depp wore jeans, a gray sweater around his waist, red sneakers, a black collared shirt, blue sunglasses, and a berry-colored beanie, carrying a guitar and a tumbler. Vlasova sported a black cropped T-shirt, matching sweatpants, white sneakers, a simple necklace, retro sunglasses, and a black handbag.
After news of their romance broke, Vlasova posted a statement in Czech on her Instagram Story, asking for privacy regarding her personal life.
The couple has been seen together multiple times, including at a Prague concert in July 2022 honoring Depp's late friend Jeff Beck. Photos showed them posing playfully, with one capturing Depp kissing Vlasova's cheek.
While Vlasova hasn't publicly confirmed the relationship, she hinted at it on social media. Earlier this year, she shared a photo on her Instagram Story showing their hands resting on each other's legs in response to a follower's question about her ‘favorite actor,’ writing, ‘JD. He is a man who is incredibly talented and inspiring.’
Depp and Vlasova first met in August 2021 at a film festival in Prague, where the model resides and runs a makeup and hairstyling studio.
Depp, now living a quiet life in the UK after his legal victory against ex-wife Amber Heard in June 2022.
Heard, meanwhile, has moved to Madrid with their 3-year-old daughter, Oonagh.
Depp filed a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife after she wrote an opinion article for the Washington Post, alleging she was a domestic abuse victim without naming him. He denied the allegations. Depp was awarded $15 million in compensatory and punitive damages by jurors, while Heard won one of her three counter-claims and received $2 million in compensatory damages.
