Filmmaker James Gunn can't stop raving about last year's biggest blockbuster 'RRR' which was helmed by SS Rajamouli. The director, who is currently awaiting the release of 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3', has said that he wants Jr. NTR to be a part of his franchise but hasn’t thought about a role for him yet.
In an interview with News18, Gunn was asked which Indian actor he would like to introduce into the Guardians universe. To this, the director referred to Jr NTR and said, 'I would love to work with that guy someday. So amazing, so cool'.
'RRR' was released theatrically on March 25, 2022, and after a long Oscar campaign, the period drama created history by bagging an Academy Award for its foot-tapping track 'Naatu Naatu'. The song was composed by MM Keerawani and penned by Chandrabose.
Marvel Studios’ 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3' is scheduled to release theatrically on May 5 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
