It is time to grab some tissues because Chris Martin just revealed that Coldplay will stop recording new music as a band post 2025.

The UK band's frontman was speaking to BBC Radio 2, and in a teaser of the upcoming interview, Chris Martin shared the group's plan.

Coldplay's last proper album will come out in 2025, which will be their last, and after that Martin thinks they will only tour. He also hinted that the band might do some collaborations.

Coldplay released their ninth studio album, Music Of The Spheres, earlier this year, featuring 12 tracks with waves of synth and airy melodies. The band is scheduled to go on an international tour to promote their album, which will be the band's first time touring since 2016 and 2017.

Coldplay has announced its next world tour will have a net-zero carbon footprint and released a sustainability plan that includes direct-air carbon capture technology by Climeworks. They'll be powering their upcoming world tour via a dance floor that generates electricity when fans jump on it at the venues.
