While neither star has confirmed any impending divorce, Affleck's move to a property in Los Angeles' exclusive Brentwood area, just two blocks from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's home, has intensified rumours.
Garner is reportedly supporting Lopez and Ben Affleck in their relationship. Garner, who was previously married to Affleck for over a decade before their 2018 split, is said to be a confidante for Lopez. The two actors have maintained an amicable relationship and co-parent their children.
According to a report from Daily Mail, Garner is offering her support to Lopez in the hopes of improving her relationship with Affleck. A source cited by the entertainment portal stated, ‘JLo has been confiding in Jen because she knows that she is one of the only people in the world who would understand what she is going through.’
The insider also claimed that Garner ‘doesn’t want Ben out of this marriage because she cares about JLo,’ emphasizing Lopez's importance in helping Affleck with his struggles with addiction.

However, recent reports from In Touch Weekly suggest that their relationship has hit a rough patch. A source cited by the entertainment portal claimed, ‘Ben Affleck has reached a breaking point with Jennifer Lopez and has moved out of their shared home.’
The insider added, ‘The writing is on the wall—it's over. They're headed for a divorce—and for once, [Ben's] not to blame!’
During a recent promotional event for her upcoming movie Atlas in Mexico, Lopez was asked by a reporter to address the divorce rumours. However, Lopez chose to remain silent and shut down the reporter, saying, ‘You know better than that.’
