Filmfare Awards 2024 will be hosted by Gujarat for the first time after a memorandum of understanding was signed between the award organisers and the state govt.
Times Group MD Vineet Jain made the announcement in the presence of Bhupendrabhai Patel, the Chief Minister of Gujarat and ministers from various departments including Tourism, Cultural Activities, Forest and Environment, Climate Change.
Jain added that after this event Gujarat will become a prominent destination for entertainment industry.
The Filmfare awards honour artistic and technical excellence in Hindi Film industry. Salman Khan has been the Brand Ambassador of the Filmfare Awards since 2009.
