After the demise of legendary Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar, tributes poured in from all over the world.
Now, popular Pakistani singer Atif Aslam went a notch higher in his tribute to Lata Mangeshkar.
A video has gone viral on social media in which Atif can be seen singing Lata Mangeshkar’s popular track 'Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai' among others at Dubai concert.
While the singer sang the song, the large led screen behind him displayed Lata Mangeshkar’s picture.
Soon after the video went viral, fans of Atif Aslam started trending “Unban Atif Aslam” on Twitter.
While some said Atif contributed 16 years to Bollywood and getting treated so badly, others requested Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to rope in Atif for their upcoming films 'Pathan' and 'Tiger 3'.
The 'nightingale of India' who gave her voice to Indian movies for more than 70 years, was honoured at a state funeral after she passed away at the age of 92 on February 6.
