Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 is close to becoming one of Bollywood’s highest-grossing films. After 28 days, the film has earned Rs 536 crore domestically, just Rs 46 crore shy of surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which holds the record with Rs 582 crore in domestic collections.
According to Sacnilk, Stree 2 has been consistent at the box office, earning Rs 3 crore on Wednesday. It is expected to surpass Jawan by next week, as it faces minimal competition.
Globally, Stree 2 has grossed over Rs 760 crore and is projected to end its run around Rs 830 crore. While it may not reach the worldwide figures of Jawan, Pathaan, or Animal, Stree 2 will emerge as one of the most profitable films, thanks to its modest budget of Rs 130 crore.
Even with Kareena Kapoor’s The Buckingham Murders hitting theaters soon, Stree 2 remains the top contender at the box office.
