The release date of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’, starring Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone, has been preponed. The film, which was earlier supposed to release on Diwali 2024, will now hit the theatres on Independence Day next year.
‘Singham Again’ will go to floors in August this year. The news was shared by film trade analyst Taran Adarsh on social media on Saturday. His tweet read, ‘#Xclusiv… AJAY DEVGN – ROHIT SHETTY: ‘SINGHAM AGAIN’ ON INDEPENDENCE DAY 2024… #SinghamAgain – the third part in #RohitShetty’s super-successful #Singham franchise – to release on 15 August 2024 #IndependenceDay. #AjayDevgn returns as #BajiraoSingham… Starts August 2023.’
‘Singham Again’ will be the third instalment of the super hit cop franchise ‘Singham’. ‘Singham’, starring Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj, was released in 2011, it was followed by ‘Singham Returns’ in 2014. Both projects were declared box office hits.
