Newlyweds Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar made their first public appearance post their wedding. The couple were dressed in their festive best to register their wedding in Mumbai on February 21, 2022.
They posed for the paparazzi outside their home in Mumbai and handed out sweets as well. Shibani was dressed in a blush pink embroidered saree and heavy-duty jewellery and Farhan matched her in similar colours with a silk kurta and jacket.
The marriage registration was largely a family affair and was attended by Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Anusha Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar's cousins, filmmaker Farah Khan and her brother Sajid. among others. Actress Rhea Chakraborty, a close friend of the bride's, was also pictured at the festivities.
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar had an intimate wedding ceremony on February 19, 2022 at Farhan's family farmhouse in Khandala.
A wedding reception for friends from the film fraternity will reportedly take place at the end of this month.
