The teaser of Taapsee Pannu-starrer 'Shabaash Mithu' is out.
The film narrates the life of Mithali Raj, the Indian Cricket team Captain who continues to shatter numerous world records while successfully leading the women in Blue at the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2022.
While Taapsee Pannu plays the titular role, Vijay Raaz is expected to have a pivotal role in the film.
The film chronicles the highs and lows, setbacks, and moments of euphoria of Mithali’s life.
Produced by Viacom18 Studios, 'Shabaash Mithu' is directed by Srijit Mukherji.
The film, written by Priya Aven, went on floors in Mumbai in April and the team wrapped the shooting last month. Some portions of the film have been shot at the iconic Lord's cricket ground in London.
