The trailer of Vicky Kaushal-starrer 'Sardar Udham' is out and looks like the film will keep you on the edge of your seats.
The trailer showcases Vicky in the role of a ‘revolutionary’ Udham Singh, who assassinated British General Michael O' Dwyer, former lieutenant governor of Punjab, in revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar in 1919.
From planning to execution, the trailer offers glimpses of Udham Singh's meticulous operation. Udham Singh is put behind bars, tortured by the cops, but remains steadfast on his plan. He was finally tried and convicted of murder and hanged in July 1940.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar, 'Sardar Udham Singh' is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on October 16.
