Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Sam Bahadur’, starring Vicky Kaushal, and Sanya Malhotra, is trying to hold strong against Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’.
As per early estimates, 'Sam Bahadur' minted Rs 3.50 crore on Day 4 which is a huge drop from its Day 3 collection of Rs 10.03 crore.
The film had an overall 22.65 per cent occupancy on Monday, December 4. The total tally of 'Sam Bahadur' now stands at Rs 29.05 crore.
'Sam Bahadur' features Vicky Kaushal in the titular role of Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. The film is set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war where Sam Manekshaw led the Indian Army, following which a new nation, Bangladesh, was born.
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, under the banner of RSVP Movies, 'Sam Bahadur' also stars Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles.
