Actor Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri is all set to make her Bollywood debut. She has bagged a role in National Award-winning filmmaker Soumendra Padhi’s next and she has started shooting for her first film, according to a report in Pinkvilla.
A trade source informed the publication that Alizeh had been taking acting and dancing lessons for over two years when her parents and Salman felt that she was ready for the big screen.
Alizeh Agnihotri’s debut film is scheduled to release in 2023.
Soumendra is known for directing ‘Budhia Singh: Born to Run’, starring Manoj Bajpayee, which won the Best Children’s Film award at the National Film Awards in 2016. He is also known for directing the Netflix series ‘Jamtara’.
Alizeh Agnihotri is the daughter of popular 90s actor Atul Agnihotri and Salman Khan’s sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri. Her father is known for appearing in films like ‘Sir’, ‘Aatish’, ‘Krantiveer’ among others. He also helmed the 2004 movie ‘Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa’, starring Salman and Preity Zinta, and 2008 film ‘Hello’, starring Sohail Khan.
He has also produced Salman Khan’s films like ‘Radhe’, ‘Bharat’, and ‘Bodyguard’.
