Actor Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his 'biggest insecurity' at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He also talked about what has changed after becoming a father.
In a video posted by Brut, Ranbir said that he is not sure if he will be able to play football and run with his children when he is 60 years old. ‘My biggest insecurity is that when my children are 20 and 21, I will be 60 years old. Will I be able to play football with them? Will I be able to run with them?’ he said.
Ranbir also expressed with how delighted and blessed he is to be a father and talked about the values they wish to teach their children. ‘There’s empathy, kindness, respect towards elders, equality… so many different things you have imbibed from your parents or life that you want to pass on to the child,’ he added.
The actor talked about sharing equal responsibilities with actor-wife Alia Bhatt and said, ‘I don't work a lot, about 180-200 days. She (Alia Bhatt) does a lot more work and is way more busy. But we will balance it out. Maybe I'll take a break when she's working, or she can, when I am out for work.’
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt married on April 14 in an intimate ceremony and welcomed daughter Raha Kapoor on November 6, 2022.
