Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to embrace parenthood. On June 27, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram and announced that they are going to be parents soon. Ranbir, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Shamshera,' spoke to Harper’s Bazaar India about his soon-to-arrive baby.
In an exclusive interview, he said, ‘Alia and I have been talking about having kids from the first day we met and fell in love. I’ve always wanted children. And she wants children. To start a new chapter in life. I am extremely excited about that, I can’t wait.’
Ranbir and Alia tied the knot after dating for over five years on April 14 in an intimate ceremony.
The couple is going to share the screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's ‘Brahmastra’ which is all set to hit the theatres on September 9.
