Actor Athiya Shetty and Indian cricketer KL Rahul made their first public appearance as a married couple on Monday. The couple had dinner at a Bandra restaurant and paused for a moment to pose for the photographers before getting into their car.
The 'Motichoor Chaknachoor' actor looked gorgeous in blue denim with a printed top, while KL opted for a white t-shirt and denim.
Now, pictures and videos of the newlyweds are being widely shared on the internet and a section of netizens are trolling Athiya for not wearing a mangalsutra or sindoor post marriage.
Athiya and KL Rahul tied the knot at Suniel Shetty's Khandala farmhouse on January 23. After the wedding ceremony, the couple posed for the paparazzi waiting outside the wedding venue.
The couple had a traditional Indian wedding with only few friends and close family members in attendance. Suniel has said he will be hosting a wedding reception after Indian Premiere League matches.
