Actor Nayanthara recently shared her casting couch experience in the industry and revealed that it happened in the initial days of her career.
As reported by indianexpress.com, during a recent media interaction, Nayanthara mentioned that she was offered a pivotal role in a movie in exchange for ‘favours’ and she rejected it bluntly as she always had faith in her talent and was sure she would definitely establish herself as one of the leading actresses.
Previously, the actor talked about her journey in the industry and the challenges she has faced. In an exclusive conversation with news agency PTI, she said, 'There is so much that I have learnt, so much that I have gone through, but it is all been nice. Whatever mistakes I have made, the good and bad phases, everything is good now. It is all a learning experience. It is not easy to be in the industry for 18-19 years, but the audience and God has been kind to me. I feel blessed. I don’t know how to put the whole thing together.'
On the work front, Nayanthara was recently seen in the horror film 'Connect'. She will soon make her Bollywood debut with Atlee’s 'Jawan', co-starring Shah Rukh Khan.
