Actor Kriti Sanon has been in the news over her rumoured relationship with Prabhas. Her 'Bhediya' co-star Varun Dhawan had further fuelled these rumours after he hinted that Kriti was not single and was dating someone who's currently working with Deepika Padukone. Soon after Varun's statement, fans believed that he had confirmed Kriti and Prabhas' relationship.
Kriti Sanon took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday night and issued a statement clarifying that these rumours are baseless. ‘It's neither pyaar (love), nor PR.. our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours (woman facepalming emoji),’ she wrote.
‘Before some portal announces my wedding date-let me burst your bubble. The rumours are ABSOLUTELY baseless! (folded hands and shrug emoji), she added with a 'fake news' sticker.
Varun also reshared Kriti's post and said, ‘Guys UI had ur fun but it’s just for fun and stuff that channels have edited to have fun. We took it as humour, don’t let your imagination run so wild.’
Kriti also sparked rumours after she said that she would marry Prabhas in a game of date, flirt and marry in a recent interview with India Today.
Kriti and Prabhas will be seen together in Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ along with Saif Ali Khan.
Besides this, Kriti has a strong lineup of films including, ‘Ganapath’, and ‘The Crew’.
