A day after the Dior fashion show in Mumbai, filmmaker Karan Johar took to Instagram stories to share a series of messages. In his posts, he mentioned certain people who conduct ‘press conferences’ at airports. He then went on to say that loved the Dior show but he won’t single out anybody’s look.
In his first Instagram story, Karan wrote, ‘The airport is a runway, it’s also a press conference, next it may be a trailer launch venue. I subscribe to it all, no complaints, but maybe nice to also catch a flight once in a while.’
In another post, he wrote, ‘I loved so many looks at the Dior show! But mentioning them is perhaps a no.’ This post had several Reddit users trying to decipher the coded note. They noticed that Karan capitalised certain letters and joining them together read, ‘Nepo.’
Many social media felt that the filmmaker was promoting his upcoming Prime Video show ‘Call Me Bae’, starring Ananya Panday.
Karan Johar has earlier too mocked celebrities for making airport appearances without having a flight to catch.
