Karan Johar says his next mission is to get Sara Ali Khan married: ‘There is a bit of Sima Taparia in me’

Filmmaker Karan Johar recently attended the 54th International Film Festival of India in Goa along with actor Sara Ali Khan. The duo unveiled the new poster for their upcoming film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan.’

At the event, Karan mentioned his popular chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’, which Sara appeared on recently. He spoke to the audience about love and marriage and said that he wanted to get Sara Ali Khan married next.

He said, ‘I hope you find green flag guys. I am manifesting it more than anything else.’

He added, ‘People who have said things on that couch, it has happened.’

Karan then said, ‘I know people who have come and spoken about the potential of marriage and they got married. I think there is a bit of Sima Taparia in me. I am that Punjabi aunty who wants to get people together and Sara is my next mission’.

For the unversed, Alia Bhatt had revealed she has a crush on Ranbir Kapoor on the show.

‘I still think he is really adorable and I still want to marry him,’ she had said.

Katrina Kaif had said that she would look good with Vicky Kaushal and they began dating soon after. Sara had also manifested her relationship with Kartik Aaryan in an earlier season of the show. After dating briefly, the duo parted ways.

Sara recently appeared on an episode of ‘Koffee with Karan 8’ with Ananya Panday. She revealed that she is currently single and there is no truth to the speculation that she is dating cricketer Shubman Gill.
