Karan Johar announces release date of 'Kill', calls it 'bloodiest ride Indian cinema has ever offered'

Karan Johar has announced the release date of Dharma Productions' new film 'Kill'. The director-producer took to Instagram to share the exciting news and revealed that the Laksh Lalwani starrer will be released in Indian theatres on July 5. The film had earlier premiered at The Toronto International Film Festival to rave reviews. Also starring Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the actioner promises the bloodiest ride Indian Cinema has ever offered.
  

'Kill' release date out now! 

Karan Johar-backed 'Kill' will arrive in Indian theatres on July 5, the filmmaker shared Monday (June 10). Taking to his official Instagram account, Karan also dropped a few posters of the film and captioned, "Get ready to get a taste of the bloodiest ride Indian cinema has ever offered! #KILLTrailer OUT SOON! Starring Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala. Written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. India theatrical release - 5th July. Warning: This film contains violent content which may be intense and disturbing for some viewers. Viewer discretion is advised (sic)."

The filmmaker had earlier shared a teaser of the film, which offered a glimpse into the action extravaganza that's set to unfold. Sharing the clip, he wrote, "Non-stop action. High-octane thrills. Prepare to board this train if you dare!"

The official synopsis of the film reads, "In Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s relentless martial arts thriller, a passenger train bound for New Delhi becomes a bloody battleground of brutal close-quarters combat as a pair of commandos square off against a 40-strong army of invading bandits."
