Special CBI Court in Mumbai will give its final verdict in the Jiah Khan suicide case on April 28. Actor Sooraj Pancholi, who has been accused of abetment to suicide, was spotted leaving for court. The paparazzi spotted him near his residence. He was seen joined by his mother Zarina Wahab and his team. Their car was mobbed by the media as they made their way to the court.
A letter allegedly written by Jiah was found that described her relationship with Sooraj Pancholi. Jiah's mother accused him and his family of ‘abusing’ her daughter.
Mumbai Police had arrested Sooraj for abetting the suicide and he was later released on bail. In 2013, Jiah's mother moved to the Bombay High Court, seeking to transfer the probe to CBI.
Jiah Khan, who was seen in films like ‘Housefull’, ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Nishabd’, was found dead at her home in Mumbai on June 3, 2013.
