Anushka Sharma will soon be making her comeback to the big screen with 'Chakda Xpress'. The actor will portray the role of Indian National Women's Cricket Team Fast bowler Jhulan Goswami in the film.
The crickter played her last international match against England on Saturday after completing 20 successful years in the sport.
Prior to the match, Anushka took to social media and posted a heartfelt message for Jhulan.
The 'NH 10' actor shared a series of Jhulan's pictures and captioned them, 'An inspiration. A role-model. A legend. Your name will be etched in history forever. Thank you @jhulangoswami, for being a game changer in Indian Women’s Cricket.'
Anushka is currently shooting for the Jhulan Goswami biopic in the UK. Recently, in an interview, she shared that she and Virat often discuss her progress and preperation. She later said, 'Whenever I’ve had a good day learning, I like to share my videos with Virat, to get his feedback. Luckily, he’s not a bowler so I listen to my coach more. But I do turn to Virat for batting tips.'
'Chakda 'Xpress' is slated to release on Netflix next year.
