Actor Shah Rukh Khan is currently basking in the success of his recent release ‘Jawan’ which has minted over Rs 950 crore worldwide at the box office.

To celebrate the film’s success, the actor’s Meer Foundation organised special screenings of the movie for underprivileged people.

They collaborated with multiple NGOs supporting diverse causes, including acid attack survivors, orphans, street children, those from slum communities, tribal children, disabled individuals, teachers, Anganwadi workers, NGO personnel and many more.

Meer Foundation shared a video of the underprivileged people’s review of ‘Jawan’ on social media and wrote, ‘Lights, camera, compassion! Meer Foundation proudly presented Mr. Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan movie to over 20 NGOs across the nation.

They joined us in celebrating this cinematic journey of love and support. Making people smile is what he does best. We're always, 'Good to go, chief!'

Earlier, during AskSRK session a fan had asked if SRK has philanthropic plans now that the film is a blockbuster.

To this, Shah Rukh Khan said, ‘Yeah the whole family has been saying it. Will start with all our partners that Meer Foundation works with to show everyone the film. Being an entertainer if I can make all of them smile it will be most satisfying. Telling @RedChilliesEnt just now. Thanks for the idea.'

Directed by Atlee, ‘Jawan’ also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi and others in key roles.
