The wait is over. Shah Rukh Khan’s highly-anticipated film ‘Jawan’ is now in theatres and the excitement among fans is at an all-time high. Several people booked early morning shows to watch their favorite superstar on the screen.
In a video that is going viral, fans are seen dancing to ‘Zinda Banda’ inside the theatre.
Fans in Aurangabad also added sweetness to the ‘Jawan’ release by cutting cakes.
Shah Rukh took to X (formerly Twitter) in the early hours of September 7 and thanked the fans for their support and gesture.
‘Love u boys and girls I hope u enjoy the entertainment. Kept awake to see u go to the theater. Big love and thanks,’ the superstar wrote.
Directed by Atlee, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Sanya Malhotra among others.
'Jawan' released worldwide in theatres on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. It also has a special appearance by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt.
The film is touted to be a commercial entertainer and features SRK in a double role - an intelligence officer and a thief. The film was shot across Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and Aurangabad. Anirudh Ravichander was chosen to compose for the film, and would thus mark his debut as a solo composer in Bollywood.
