Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’, which released in theatres on September 7, is receiving a tremendous response from the audience. SRK fans across the nation are celebrating the film’s release on a grand scale. 

A video of fans pouring milk on Shah Rukh’s poster in Chennai is going viral online. They are also seen grooving to dhol beats. 

The Atlee directorial is the first Hindi film to have a first day, first show at the iconic Rohini Silver Screen theatres in Chennai. 

As soon as the video went viral, fans reacted to it. A fan wrote, ‘Seeing this for the first time for a Bollywood actor.’ Another wrote, ‘Biggest superstar in the history of Indian cinema.’

Directed by Atlee, the film boasts of a very impressive ensemble cast, complex plot, action, music and a cocktail of emotions. 

‘Jawan’ opened to houseful theatres. Several moviegoers headed to catch the 6am shows. 

This is Shah Rukh Khan's first film with Nayanthara. It stars Vijay Sethupathi as the lead antagonist. The film is also high on woman power with Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Riddhi Dogra, Girija Oak and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya also among the cast members. 

Anirudh Ravichander has given music for the film and ‘Jawan’ songs ‘Zinda Banda’, ‘Chaleya’, ‘Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ are already a hit.
