Sudipto Sen's 'The Kerala Story', starring Adah Sharma, is one of the highest grossing movies of this year and also the most controversial. Post its release, the film was banned in some Indian States.
Now, veteran actor Kamal Haasan has reacted to the controversy surrounding the film.
Speaking with the media, he said ‘As I previously stated, I am opposed to propagandist films. It's not enough to write 'true story' as a logo at the bottom. It has to be true, and that is not the case.’ 'The Kerala Story' has earned over ₹200 crore at the domestic box office. The film also stars Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani.
