Speaking about what elements he considered while writing the script, Hitesh said that his take on "life is optimistic" which became a defining factor when he wrote the script.
The writer-director also shared his experience of working with a stellar cast of 'Sharmaji Namkeen'. He said, "I am lucky to work with three phenomenal actors in his first film like Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, and Juhi Chawal. It is great learning for me."
Hitesh added that 'Sharmaji Namkeen' was a great learning experience for him. On Rishi Kapoor's sudden death, he said that "it was a tough time. Moreover, it was a difficult call to get another actor". However, they were lucky to have Paresh Rawal join the cast, he concluded.
