Sunny Deol Birthday : Actor-politician Sunny Deol is celebrating his 66th birthday today. He was the most-loved action heroes of Bollywood in the 90s. Son of veteran actor Dharmendra, Sunny made his Bollywood debut with movie ‘Betaab’ in 1983. He then went on to star in some of the most successful movies of the eighties and nineties.
The action-drama marked Rajkumar Santoshi’s directorial debut. Sunny portrayed the role of a young boxer, who was framed for his brother’s murder and sent to jail. However, he befriends three convicts and sets out to seek revenge against crooked businessman Balwant Rai, portrayed by Amrish Puri. This box-office hit earned the actor National Film Award – Special Mention.
