The first teaser of ‘Gadar 2’, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, has been released. The actors are back as Tara Singh and Sakeena, taking forward the story of their love and hardships.
‘Gadar 2’ is a sequel to ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, which emerged as a blockbuster 22 years ago when it released in theaters. The movie has been set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 when posters of ‘Crush India’ were pasted across Pakistan.
The teaser begins by reminding the audience about Tara’s connection with Pakistan after he married Sakina. The makers have retained the song ‘Ghar aa ja pardesi’ from ‘Gadar’s soundtrack.
We could see Sunny in his emotional-action avatar. However, the makers refrained from showing Ameesha in the teaser.
‘Gadar 2’ will release in cinemas on August 11. The movie will clash at the box office with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’
