'Fauda' actor Tsahi Halevi sings Shah Rukh Khan's 'Tujhe Dekha Toh...' from ‘Diwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge’

Israeli actor Tsahi Halevi, best known for his role in the web series ‘Fauda’, is a huge fan of Hindi cinema. In a recent video captured by ANI, the actor can be seen singing the song ‘Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jaana Sanam’ from Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge’.

He crooned a few lines from the song perfectly without any pause, winning the hearts of netizens.

Halevi first visited India in 2022 and met with many celebrities from Indian cinema including Anupam Kher, Imtiaz Ali and Vivek Agnihotri.

He showcased his singing talent during his maiden trip to India. At an event in Delhi, he sang the popular song ‘Yaara Teri Yaari’ as well as the song ‘Tamally Ma’ak’.

The Israeli actor from the popular show 'Fauda' sang the song to cheers from the crowd at an event hosted by the Embassy of Israel in India. The event also marked the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Israel.

His Bollywood debut

Halevi made his Bollywood debut alongside Nushrratt Bharuccha in ‘Akeli’, which was directed by Pranay Meshram.

Speaking about the opportunity, Halevi said, ‘It is a great opportunity to be a part of such a colourful world of Indian cinema! I’m super excited and was amazed with the script when I first heard it! It was truly nice working with the entire cast and crew in Akeli and I’m sure it is going to be an impactful and unforgettable movie.’

About ‘Fauda’

'Fauda', a Netflix series depicting the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, has been successful in India. Tsahi Halevi commented, ‘I think Fauda is a hit in India. We get a lot of social media feedback from India... It is a great opportunity to understand Indian television and cinema.’

According to Deadline, 'Fauda' is produced by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, with Trotem Shamir directing. The show's writers include Noah Stollman, Michal Aviram, Yuval Yefet, Maayan Oz, and Sari Azoulay Turgeman.
