‘Drishyam 2’ trailer: Case reopens, Vijay Salgaonkar and his family in trouble again

The trailer of ‘Drishyam 2’, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna, has been unveiled. It opens with Vijay Salgaonkar, played by Ajay Devgn, who mentions even after 7 years his family is still being questioned for former IG Meera Deshmukh’s son Sam's disappearance. Akshaye Khanna stars as the investigating officer, who wants to catch Vijay's lie. However, there is still no evidence. Tabu, who plays mother of Sam, says she won't underestimate the ‘4th-fail anpadh’ again.

The intriguing trailer ends with Ajay Devgn sitting inside an interrogation room.

Shriya Saran reprises her role as Vijay Salgaonkar’s wife and Ishita Dutta as his daughter Anju.

The trailer has been shared by Tabu and Ajay Devgn on their respective social media handles.

Sharing the clip, Ajay wrote, ‘Shabdon pe nahin, drishyon pe dhyaan do. Kyunki shabdon mein, jhoot chupne ki jagah dhoond hi leta hai. #Drishyam2Trailer Out Now. Case Reopens on 18th November, 2022’.

Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is all set to hit the theatres on November 18. 'Drishyam 2' is a remake of 2013's Malayalam movie of the same name, which stars Mohanlal in the lead role. It was directed by National-Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat, who died in 2020.
