Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘An Action Hero’ released on December 2 and it seems like the actor’s first full actioner has failed to attract the audience with its charm. The film barely saw any audience even on it’s day 5.
According to Economic Times, ‘An Action Hero’ did a business of Rs 30-40 lakh on its fifth day. Reports say that the movie will barely make Rs 20 crore in its lifetime.
Reportedly, the film’s collection for the first three days of its release was Rs 1.31 crore, Rs 2.16 crore, and Rs 2.52 crore, respectively. A tough competition from Ajay Devgan’s ‘Drishyam 2 and ‘Varun Dhawan’s ‘Bhediya’ has been seen as a reason for the bad performance of the movie.
‘An Action Hero’ also stars Jaideep Ahlawat in the lead role. Ayushmann plays Maanav in the movie, who accidentally kills a politically connected fan.
