Actor Ashish Vidyarthi tied the knot with Kolkata fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua in an intimate ceremony in Kolkata on Thursday. The couple registered their marriage in the presence of their friends and family in the morning, followed by a get-together in the evening.
The wedding was a blend of cultures that the couple represents. Rupali donned a beautiful white and golden Mekhela Chador from Assam, while Ashish wore a white and gold Mundu from Kerala.
Ashish Vidyarthi started his career in 1986. He has appeared in a number of Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Odia, Marathi, and Bengali films. So far, he has worked in almost 300 films in 11 different languages.
The National award-winning actor was earlier married to Rajoshi Vidyarthi, an Indian actor, singer, and theatre artist. She is the daughter of Shakuntala Barua, an actress of the yester years.
