The trailer for 'Thar' was unveiled at a launch event in Mumbai on Monday, April 18. The thriller, starring Anil Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor and Fatima Sana Shaikh will be available on Netflix from May 6. Directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary, the trailer promises an intriguing watch that’s loaded with twists and turns.
The story follows Siddharth (Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor), an antique dealer, who is on his journey through a remote village in Rajasthan that has recently been rocked by a series of violent killings. Just as when the local cop Surekha Singh (Anil Kapoor) investigates the murders, he suspects Siddharth to be the culprit.
Speaking of 'Thar', Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor (who is also producing the film), stated that they are very excited to be able to show the film to audiences all over the world.
In the film 'Thar,' Anil Kapoor will appear alongside his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor. During the trailer launch, Anil stated that he enjoys working with young and new talent. He added that bringing on young actors and filmmakers for 'Thar' provided a completely different perspective on films.
