Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has opened-up on how he quit smoking and drinking. He took a road down the memory lane and shared about a lab experience in school in his official blog.

He wrote, ‘the College routine in continuation and the site one fine day when the last paper for the Graduate degree was over to find some of the classmates celebrating with the pure alcohol , kept in the Lab,  for experiments and getting extremely sick ..’ He shared that the act taught them a lesson.

Big B also talked about ‘social drinking’ and how in school and college, excess of intoxicants created havoc.

He also talked about smoking and how easy it was to quit the habit. He wrote, ‘chuck that glass of the intoxicant , while in the middle of it and crush the ‘ciggi’ on your lips at the same time and .. sayonara .. the very best way to be in riddance .. not some part time exigencies to stop the use .. its the removal of the cancer at once .. done at the rush of a stroke .. the more the dwindling , the greater the undesired habit of remaining ..’

Big B is currently on a break from work as he suffered rib cartilage injury on the sets of ‘Project K.’ He had shared that his ‘rib cartilage popped broke,’ and there was a ‘muscle tear to the right rib cage.’ However, he recently stepped out for an ad shoot. Reportedly, the recovery rate is slow and he will take time to get back to shoot.
