Mom-to-be Alia Bhatt is making her debut as a producer with 'Darlings', and as the movie's release date inches closer, the actor is actively promoting the film.
During the trailer launch, Alia was asked about the possibility of future collaborations with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor. To which Alia answered in a cheerful manner ‘We did discuss it. I actually told him that if you don’t make me produce it, I’ll be very upset! I told him if you don’t want to take me as an actor, that’s totally fine. He told me, ‘No no, I need you, you’re a tyrant’. She added ‘ I would be a creative producer and I will give inputs at the writing stage.’
Ranbir had reportedly expressed his desire to direct a film during the promotions of his latest release 'Shamshera' .
'Darlings' is all set to hit the theatres on August 5, 2022.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor married in April this year and are expecting their first child together.
On the work front, the couple is also gearing up for the release of their first time together, ‘Brahmastra’.
Some of the other projects of Alia Bhatt, include 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' and 'Jee Le Zara'.
