Alia Bhatt has begun shooting for her upcoming film 'Alpha', the newest addition to the YRF Spy Universe. The film also featuring Sharvari marks the first female-led project in the franchise. A visual capturing Alia on the sets of the spy thriller has now gone viral. In the picture, the actor, dressed in her casual best, is seen sipping coffee. As per sources, the look going viral is not Alia's character's look but rather a candid shot on the sets of the upcoming film.

First glimpse into Alpha

Alia Bhatt announced the film last week with a new video. The background audio features the actress saying, "Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar. Aur humare programme ka motto.. sabse pehle, sabse tezz, sabs veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har sheher mein ek jungle hai. Aur jungle mein hamesha Raj karega..ALPHA!” Towards the end, the text "filming now" appears on the screen. “It's the time of the ALPHA... Girls!" read the caption of the post. Alia also tagged Sharvari in the caption.

More about 'Alpha'

While the details of the project have been kept under wraps, it was revealed that Alia will be seen in the role of a super-agent, under the direction of Shiv Rawail. It is going to be the seventh film in Yash Raj Films' spy universe. The director has reportedly planned several high-octane fight sequences.

Meanwhile, Alia is also gearing up for her next project, 'Jigra', alongside Vedang Raina. She will also be seen in 'Love & War'.
