Actor Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul are finally tying the knot after years of dating each other. The couple is set to get married in an intimate ceremony at Athiya’s actor-father Suniel Shetty‘s Khandala farmhouse.
On Athiya and Rahul’s special day, actor Ajay Devgn took to Twitter to congratulate his dear friends Suniel and Mana Shetty for their daughter’s marriage to Rahul.
‘Here’s wishing the young couple a blissful married life. And, Anna, here’s a special shout-out to you on this auspicious occasion,’ he tweeted.
Pictures and videos from Athiya and KL Rahul’s wedding festivities are being widely shared on social media. A sangeet ceremony was hosted on Sunday night which was attended by their family members and close friends.
According to Bollywood Life, Athiya and KL Rahul will don a white and gold ensemble for their big day which has been designed by ace fashion designer Sabyasachi.
The two will reportedly take wedding vows at 4 pm on January 23 and will then pose for the paparazzi later in the evening.
Close friends of Suniel Shetty like superstar Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff and Akshay Kumar are among those invited for the wedding. Actor Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor, said to be a close friend of the bride, is also rumoured to be on the guest list.
