The teaser of the much-awaited film ‘Ponniyin Selvan- Part1’ (PS-1) has finally been released. It was unveiled by Amitabh Bachchan alongwith Mahesh Babu, Suriya, Mohanlal and Rakshit Shetty, at a grand event in Chennai. The film revolves around the power struggle of the Chola empire during the 10th century. Every frame of the film’s teaser is spectacular and it has increased the curiosity of the audience.
The film has a stellar star cast which includes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala among others.
‘Ponniyin Selvan Part 1’ is directed by Mani Ratnam. It has been jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions. The film’s music has been composed by AR Rahman.
