The crackdown on pro-Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh echoed in the entertainment industry with actor Kangana Ranaut targeting actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh.
Kangana on 21 March 2023 retweeted a Swiggy Instamart post which was a twist on the viral "puls aa gayi puls" (police is coming) meme. Kangana tagged Diljit in the tweet with the hashtag "just saying".
Subsequently, she shared a post on Instagram which read, "All those who supported Khalistanis, remember - you're next. Police has come. This is not the era in which anyone could do anything. Attempts to betray or divide the nation will prove costly now."
