In response to a tweet about a report on Apple's alleged electric vehicle plans, Tesla boss Elon Musk has said Apple CEO Tim Cook once refused to meet with him for the possible sale of Tesla. Musk tweeted that he reached out to Tim Cook "during the darkest days of the Model 3 program", to potentially discuss Apple acquiring the electric car manufacturer for 1/10 of its current value. The Tesla head also questioned the veracity of the report mentioned in the tweets, especially with regard to the technology that Apple would supposedly be using.
