Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth on Tuesday released the BJP's manifesto in Lucknow for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The manifesto, released just 2 days before the first phase of polling has special focus on farmers. Western UP with a huge farm population will vote on Feb 10.
• Free power for irrigation to farmers for the next five years
• Payment to sugarcane farmers within 14 days, interest in case of delay.
• 1 free cylinder on Holi and Diwali under Ujjwala scheme
• Job guarantee for at least one person per family
• Rs 1500 monthly pension for widows
• Six mega food parks to be developed
• MBBS seats in the state to be doubled
• Number of ambulances to be doubled
• 10-year jail, Rs 1 lakh fine in "Love Jihad" cases
• Free scooty for college going girls
• Special CM Irrigation scheme with investment of 25,000 crore
• Special incentives to promote natural farming in villages
