Rahul Gandhi: Modi waived off ₹16 lakh cr loan of 22 rich people — which is 24 years of MGNREGA fund

Addressing a rally in Telangana's Adilabad, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on May 5 said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi waived off loans worth 24 years of MGREGA funds of 22 people.

"Narendra Modi has waived off loans worth ₹16 lakh crore of 22 to 25 people. This means Modi gave them a sum worth 24 years of MGNREGA funds," said Gandhi.

Adilabad will go to polls in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 13.
